A Jimmy Buffet inspired installation and event

Initially named “Fishing for a Cease & Desist from Jimmy Buffet by naming this art show Margaritaville”.

I sent out an only postal paper mail and fax campaign to get a real Cease & Desist for this party. First, I got a PO Box for Margaritavillage and every couple days for two months I mailed flyers and a note to Margaritaville HQTS and Jimmy Buffet’s publicist, hoping to get a C&D in the mail, so I could frame it as the centerpiece of the show.

Well, I never got the C&D, but it was a great party art show! Raffled my customized van for $1 a ticket. Converted a cement mixer into a margarita mixer. Had a Jimmy Buffet cover band, by performance artist Max Juren.
